Risk falls into two categories:-

Systematic - e.g. inflation, terrorist attacks and interest rates

Specific - e.g. An investment fund that fails to follow the market and has taken unnecessary risks

We try to minimise risk, to ensure that our clients' portfolios are built around an appropriate asset allocation in order to manage systematic risk.

We aim to ensure that our choice of investment funds are those managed by the best fund managers, to minimise the impact of specific risk.

Overall, our aim is to optimise returns, whilst minimising risk.
